Australia's Rising Star

Australia's rising star, Bridget O'Shannessy is set to illuminate the country music scene. Endearing and engaging with a natural talent for crafting tunes that appeal to a wide audience, it is no surprise this young Australian is attracting the attention of industry taste-makers world-wide.

Already an award-winning singer-songwriter, Bridget first sang on stage at just nine; has opened for Gotye’s ‘The Basics’; performed at numerous high profile events, including Tamworth Country Music Festival, Gympie Muster and Rockin’ Rocky alongside Love and Theft, and Drew Baldridge. Most recently O’Shannessy showcased her voice on Channel 9’s Lord Mayor’s Christmas Carols and on the catwalks of London Fashion Week, Shanghai Fashion Week, Vancouver Eco Fashion Week and Green Fashion Week in Las Vegas, Death Valley and Los Angeles.

Having conquered 17,000 streams on her most recent single ‘Some Other Girl’ and reaching over 98,000 views on YouTube for her debut single ‘In My Head’ of 2016, she begins her next adventure with the release of her brand new single ‘Long Dirt Road’ in January this year. It's all guns blazing for this young artist as she wraps up production of her next releases throughout 2019.

“Bridget is most definitely the real thing. The complete package with a great sound, great look and great attitude. To me, she is already a star and I know people will love her sound.”

— Louie Shelton, world-renowned guitarist and music producer.

Like most people her age, Bridget is out discovering the world and what it has to offer. However, she spends her days in the studio with her band creating new sounds, developing out-of-the-box marketing strategies with her team and performing all around the world with amazing artists and bands. Proving that Bridget is not just some other girl, her songs and passion for the music industry have caught the attention of the likes of Cole Clark Guitars, Jeff Garner of Prophetik Designs and many more.

“Most teenagers are naturally creative. I’m just lucky enough to be surrounded by good family, great music and very clever friends. If I can get all that into a song (or two) then I believe we can do something amazing.”
